Delivering Custom-Made Door & Room Number Plates Across India

1. Objective

To define clear procedures for processing, manufacturing, quality-checking, and delivering door number plates, room plates, and signage products ordered through DoorNumberPlates.artsNprints.com, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

2. Scope

This SOP applies to all departments involved in:

  • Customer communication & support

  • Design & artwork approval

  • Production & quality inspection

  • Packaging, shipping & after-sales service

3. Workflow Overview

Step 1: Order Placement

  • Customer places an order online or via WhatsApp/call (+91 9036882889).

  • Order details (size, material, color, text, engraving type, quantity) are recorded.

  • System generates a unique Order ID and sends acknowledgment via email/WhatsApp.

Step 2: Design & Pre-Production Approval

  • Design team creates a digital artwork proof.

  • The customer reviews and approves the design before production.

  • Only after written approval, the production process begins.

Step 3: Material Allocation

  • Based on order type, raw materials (Brass, Stainless Steel, Acrylic, Titanium, Wooden, etc.) are assigned.

  • All raw materials are checked for quality, thickness accuracy, and surface finish.

Step 4: Production Process

  • Engraving or Printing: Permanent laser marking, UV printing, or sandblasting based on material.

  • Cutting & Finishing: Precision shaping (rectangular, oval, round, custom).

  • Polishing & Coating: Protective layer applied for long-lasting shine and weather resistance.

Step 5: Quality Check (QC)

  • 3-point inspection: Design accuracy, engraving clarity, and size verification.

  • QC team signs off before packaging.

  • Rejected products are reworked immediately to avoid delays.

Step 6: Packaging & Dispatch

  • Each plate is packed in protective bubble wrap and secured in a rigid box.

  • Dispatch within 2–5 working days from production completion.

  • Tracking details and courier link shared with the customer via WhatsApp/SMS/email.

Step 7: Delivery

  • Delivery available across India — from Jammu to Kanyakumari and all metro/tourist cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Kolkata.

  • Customer is notified upon successful delivery.

Step 8: After-Sales Support

  • Customers can reach support 24/365 for installation guidance, re-orders, or feedback.

  • Replacement handled under the Return & Refund Policy if eligible.

4. Key Policies

  • No Cash on Delivery (COD) for customized items.

  • Pre-production approval mandatory.

  • Confidentiality maintained for all custom designs and corporate logos.

  • Sustainability focus: Eco-friendly materials and minimal packaging waste.
